"Who am I? I'm Venus, your sassy Latina, originally from Brooklyn NY, that somehow morphed into a bodyworker, healer, and coach. Wanna know how I got here?... Buckle up..." I grew up in Brooklyn, NY, during the late '70s and '80s, and let me tell you, I was definitely the oddball. While most people were blending in, I was the loner doing my own thing—my music, my style, my interests—they never quite lined up with the crowd. I wasn’t one to roll with the masses, but I did have a couple of friends who “got me.” I guess I’ve always marched to the beat of my own drum, even if that meant standing out. It's kind of funny looking back now at how different I was, but hey, someone had to be the outlier, right? Fast forward to the early 2000s—married, divorced, and with three kids in tow, I found myself in Syracuse, NY.
